Day 1-2 Arrival/Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar • Sightseeing in the city.
Day 3-5 HustalPike/Bayangobi/Karakorum
Drive to Karakorum • Overnight at Hustain Nuruu National Reserve to view Przewalski horses recently re-introduced back into the wild • Visit local horse-breeder's camp and familiarize yourself with your horse and gear in the Bayangobi area • Tour the ruins of Karakorum, ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, and visit Erdene Zuu Monastery.
Day 6-10 Horse Riding
Ride to Moilt Am for camping in tents • Hiking or riding for viewing ancient stone statues and inscriptions • Ride to the Orkhon Waterfall along the Orkhon river, camping in tents and visiting local nomads along the way.
Day 11-12 Karakorom/Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to Karakorum and continue on to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 13 Ulaanbaatar
Tour of the Natural History Museum • Leisure time for souvenir shopping and independent exploration • Evening cultural show.
Day 14 Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure.
