Day 1-3 Arrival in Beijing/Xi'an
Arrive in Beijing • Fly from Beijing to Xi'an and visit the old City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Terra Cotta Warriors, and the Huanqing Pool.
Day 4-5 Shanghai
Fly from Xi'an to Shanghai • Sightseeing features the bustling shopping street of Nanjing Road, and the famous promenade along the Huangpu River, the Bund. • Tour the Shanghai Museum, proceed to the Jade Buddha Temple, and then the Children's Palace.
Day 6-8 Guilin
Fly from Shanghai to Guilin • Tour of the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill • Enjoy a cruise along the Li River downstream to Yangshuo.
Day 9-10 Beijing
Fly from Guilin to Beijing • Visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.
Day 11 Beijing/Great Wall
Full-day excursion to the Great Wall • Authentic Beijing Roast Duck (Peking Duck) dinner in the evening.
Day 12 Beijing
A pedicab tour of the Hutongs, the "old city" neighborhoods of narrow alleyways and courtyard gardens hidden behid Beijing's modern facade. Visit Prince Gong's Mansion, the Drum Tower, and old-style courtyard houses still inhabited by Beijing residents • Visit the Summer Palace
