Mongolia is one of the few countries left that can be explored with a true spirit of adventure. Mysterious Mongolia is just opening up to the outside world.
In most cases, when you read about "adventure travel", it means that you will be taken to some completely "touristic" place, like Costa Rica or Nepal, and that the only person to take any risk will be your guide. Also "adventure" always means that there is nobody to take care of you, except for yourself, and there is a real chance of never coming back. On the other hand, we believe that it is not a good idea to risk your life just for the risk itself. Here are some extremely interesting trips that can be completed without risking your health or life. Such trips can be made without any special skills.
Travelling around this "land of blue sky" on the back of horse or camel for an authentic cultural experience in the style of Chingis Khan's mounted army, or in the comfort of four-wheel drive we stay in tents or occasionally in gers with nomadic families en route. We visit truly spectacular regions, go hiking in the mountains, stop at small rivers and streams to fish or swim, relax in the sand dunes and camel riding across the Gobi, tour centuries-old monasteries and history-laden Kharakhorum, visit volcanic lakes and drive across the magnificent Mongolian grasslands.
We'll be glad to provide information about our safest adventure trips to Mongolia.
