
Gobi Camel Caravan
The Gobi is one of the most famous desert regions in the world. It is made up of varying landscapes and is known for its unique natural settings and rich wildlife. The United nations designated the Great Gobi area as in International Biosphere Reserve, making it 4th largest reserve in the world and the largest in Asia. Mongolia has the largest population of Bactrian camels in the world. The camel is one of the main attractions in the Gobi for foreign visitors. We invite you to ride a camel trough the canyons and sand dunes of the second largest desert on the Earth for an unbelievable adventure.
Day 1 Ulaanbaatar Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Tour the city. Visit museums and places of interest.
Fly to Gobi Desert. Visit famous Yol Valley National park for a day of leisurely exploration.
Ride Camels trough the canyons and sand dunes of the Gobi Desert, overnighting in tents along the way.
Overland drive to Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongolian Empire. Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery and the ruins of ancient Karakorum.
Day 8-9 hustain National Park/Ulaanbaatar
Drive to Hustain National Park to view Przewalski's horse, re-introduced to the wild in their native homeland. Continue driving to Ulaanbaatar.
Sightseeing in the city. Tour a cashmere factory and shop in its outlet store for fine cashmere and camel wool clothing and blankets. Enjoy cultural song and dance performance in the evening.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer for departure.
