Days and Itinerary

Day 1-5 Ulaanbaatar/Gobi desert Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and explore the capital city of Mongolia. Start your overland adventure to the Gobi Desert. Visit historical places interest such as Baga Gazryn Chuluu Lake and Sum Khukh Burd temple. Explore the famous Lammergeyer Valley, the Hongoryn Els, known as the 'singing Dunes' and Bayan Zag, the Gobi's famous 'Dinosaur Cemetery'.

Day 6-12 Karakorum/Tsenkher Jiguur Hot Spa/ Khovsgol Lake

Drive north to Karakorum via Saikhan Ovoo. En route stops to visit monasteries, temples dating back to the l3'h century, and natural areas such as Terkiin Tsagaan Lake and extinct Horgo volcano. Relax in a hot spa on the way and enjoy leisurely walking, hiking, and yak riding or fishing opportunistic during your stay at crystal clear Hovsgol Lake.

Day 13-15 Erdenet/ Amarbayasgalat Monastery

Continue your overland adventure to Amarbayasgalant Monastery. Spend a night on the banks of the Selenge River and visit the Erdenet copper mines, one of the largest in the world. Arrive at Amarbayasgalant, tour the temples, and meet with the rnonks. Trek celebration dinner with Mongolian specialties.

Day 16-18 Ulaanbaatar

Continue back to Ulaanbaatar. Shop for attractive souvenirs or pure Mongolian cashmere products. Enjoy an evening cultural performance. Farewell dinner to share happy trip experiences and celebrate the successful journey. Departure.
